Here is our story.
StoryBee Inc. was born from a clear vision: to seamlessly merge the joys of fun with the depth of education, ensuring that learning becomes a delightful journey for kids. Right from our earliest days, we've dedicated extensive time and resources to research and development. This unwavering commitment paved the way for our intuitive platform, housing a comprehensive library of curriculum-aligned children's books. Our aim has always been to enrich the learning experiences of young minds through engaging content.
A defining moment that added urgency to our mission was the unprecedented global COVID-19 lockdown. As schools shut their doors and learning environments shifted online, it became evident that a significant portion of families, especially those from impoverished backgrounds, lacked access to digital learning materials. Recognizing this acute disparity, and understanding the educational challenges stemming from this digital divide, StoryBee sprang into action. The open-access digital library was conceived as an immediate response to ensure that learning remained uninterrupted and universally accessible, irrespective of a child's socio-economic status.
Over time, our offerings have found favor with numerous parents, educators, and young voracious readers, bearing testament to the timely relevance and efficacy of our platform in today's evolving educational milieu. Delving deeper into our roots, the story of StoryBee mirrors the shared dream of countless friends across the globe. We resonate with the idea that every individual, irrespective of their background, should be blessed with opportunities to learn, grow, and flourish.
Families around the world, especially those burdened by financial challenges, often find it tough to get access to quality education. But one thing is clear: every child, regardless of their background, is brimming with a natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn. At StoryBee, we see this innate spark in children and are committed to fanning it into a flame of lifelong learning. By providing access to high-quality children's picture books online without any cost to the readers, we're striving to narrow the educational divide. Our mission doesn’t stop at just education; we also aim to inspire young minds about the criticality of climate change and the dire need to safeguard our planet's precious resources for the generations to come.
Our journey is a collective march towards sculpting a brighter, more equitable world for every child.

As an organization, we operate under our Leadership Principles framework. By adhering to these principles, we are able to build trust with our community, stay committed to our mission, and create content that makes a positive impact on the world.
Our Vision is to create a world where educational equity is a reality for every child. We are passionate about this vision and are dedicated to achieving it through our work.
When creating our content, we focus on the following principles:
Thoughtfully designed solutions for different contexts: We understand that every child is unique and has different learning needs. That's why we design our content with different contexts in mind, so that every child can benefit from our resources.
Impactful and scalable solutions: We want to make a real impact on the world and help as many children as possible. That's why we create solutions that are scalable and can be easily implemented in different communities.
Solutions that offer access to foundational and STEM knowledge and skills: We believe that every child should have access to foundational and STEM knowledge and skills, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our solutions are designed to provide this access and help children reach their full potential.
Real-world experience-based content: We believe that learning should be hands-on and relevant to the real world. That's why we create content that is based on real-world experiences and helps children apply their knowledge to real-life situations. Check our creation page.
Curriculum-based progression: We understand the importance of following a curriculum and ensuring that children are making progress in their learning. That's why we design our content with a curriculum-based progression in mind, so that children can build on their knowledge and skills over time.
